Fiber Connect 2026 was a reminder and an exploration of the importance of fiber. Our focus was healthcare: MCNC’s President & CEO Tracy Doaks sat down with NC Telehealth Network Association‘s Dr. John Graham to trace how the nonprofit has grown to leverage MCNC’s extensive fiber network to bring connectivity to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers across the state.

Tracy also joined the panel discussion “Connected Communities, Connected Care” to further explore fiber for healthcare in rural areas and the massive difference it’s making for patients and providers.

It was inspiring to hear from the organizations working at the forefront of emerging tech and innovation, and we were honored to be part of the conversations making sure that, as the world evolves, no community gets left behind.
